Wisconsin’s Grand Geneva Resort helps kick the season into high gear with great, low rates
By Don Shell
Play either of Grand Geneva’s two championship courses for just $25 this weekend.
To celebrate the start of spring and the return of golf, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is offering $25 golf rounds to their Facebook fans from Friday, April 6 through Sunday, April 8.
Grand Geneva is home to two championship golf courses; The Brute and The Highlands. The Brute stretches over 7,000 yards, boasting one of the most challenging layouts in the Midwest. With its picturesque landscape of scenic hills, trickling creeks and lush foliage, The Highlands instantly transports golfers to the hills of Northern Scotland.
It’s easy to take advantage. Just click here, and then click “like.” And what’s not to like?
There’s more in store around the Midwest, though. Check out these other awesome early-season deals:
Treetops Resort’s Pre-Preseason Golf package is just $59 per person* and includes one night’s lodging (best available hotel room), one round of golf with cart on the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Masterpiece course, and even continental breakfast!
* Valid April 6 & 7, 2012 and April 11-19, 2012, double occupancy
Grand Traverse is offering up one beast of a golf course — the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear — for just $50 bucks until April 25, 2012. Not a bad deal for one of the truest tests of golf in the state. GTR’s also offering the Spruce Run course for $35, and stay-and-play rates start at just $144 on weekends, with unlimited golf.
West Illinois’ excellent Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa has a sensational spring special, with one night’s lodging and two rounds of golf and breakfast starting at $109 midweek/$149 weekends.
For a limited time, you can play the resort’s North, South, East, or even The General, and also receive a 10% discount in the Stonedrift Spa afterward. Of course, a round on The General is its own kind of soothing therapy. Trust me.
Want to get away for an early-season golf weekend? Away from the hustle and bustle and hassle? Give Swan Lake Resort’s two championship tracks a try. Now through April 30, you can get a night’s stay and unlimited golf starting at just $85 weekdays.
Cedar Point might be just down the road, but the Tom Fazio-designed Sawmill Creek Golf Club is a roller coaster all its own. And now through May 31, you and your favorite playing partner can get a night’s lodging, breakfast and 18 holes for just $249.
